Orangebox is committed to minimising its impact on the environment
Responsibility for environmental protection lies with all team members.
We use IS014001:2015 as our environmental management system (EMS) and this is the basis for our process of continuous improvement.
We will comply with applicable legal and other requirements.
We have set challenging targets, focused on the areas that create most of an impact and we will regularly monitor our progress against these goals.
In order to continually improve our environmental performance and sustainable practices,
we are committed to:
- Addressing the concerns of stakeholders and specifically interested parties
- Ensuring all employees are adequately trained & have the necessary knowledge, skills & resources to operate in a sustainable fashion
- Using all resources responsibly and efficiently
- Sourcing all wooden components from certified sources including FSC-STD-40-004 or PEFC ST2002:2010
- Sourcing components & services from local suppliers wherever practical
- Regularly evaluating the impact of our business activities on the environment
- Consistently implementing sustainable measures to prevent pollution & minimise waste generation
- Maintaining Chain of Custody Systems
